Bill C311 , The Climate Change Accountability Act, is a private member’s bill that commits Canada to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, setting medium and long-term targets. Parliament recently voted to delay the passing of the bill. Frank Valeriote, Guelph’s MP was one of only 14 Liberals to vote against the delay.
Kairos Guelph has asked all concerned citizens to contact Frank Valeriote to express support for moving forward on this bill and passing it before the Climate Change conference in Copenhagen on Dec. 12th.
