As of March 31, 2010, the Ontario Government Ministry of Children and Youth through Family and Children’s Services will no longer be funding preventative support work.

As a result the community development worker at West Willow Woods Neighbourhood Group, Alicia Brame will no longer have a job in our community. This loss will effect several important programs in our community, for example the winter clothing drive, backpack drive, emergency support, and social events such as Winterfest and the annual summer BBQ.
